There are different levels into the conversation.

Introduction

The Invitation. The Welcome. The Belonging.

The journey from keynote to deeper engagement moves through three connected stages. Each one invites people closer to the thinking behind G’Ology and The Five Bs of Human Connection, from hearing the story, to exploring the framework, to practising it together.

Stage One

The Invitation

Keynotes

Gamal Turawa

The keynote is the invitation into my story and the thinking that grew from it. Through lived experience, reflection and humour, I explore the moments that shaped my understanding of identity, belonging, dignity and human connection, and how those experiences eventually led to the development of G’Ology and The Five Bs of Human Connection.

The aim is not to give an audience a model to memorise. It is to invite them to notice something. To think differently about how we move through the world, how we adapt in order to belong, how our experiences shape the way we see others, and how easily good intentions can create very different impacts.

The keynote creates space for curiosity rather than certainty. It asks people to consider:

  • What have my experiences taught me to expect from others?

  • What do I bring into the room before anyone else speaks?

  • What helps people feel that they matter?

  • What might I be doing, often unintentionally, that affects someone else’s sense of dignity or belonging?

The Five Bs are not where the story begins. They are what emerged from the journey.

The keynote is the invitation to step into that journey, reflect on your own, and begin to see human connection differently.

Stage Two

The Welcome

Masterclasses

22.webp

The masterclass is the welcome into the thinking behind G’Ology and The Five Bs of Human Connection. Having heard the story and the journey that shaped the framework, participants are invited to come closer to the ideas themselves, to explore what the Five Bs mean, how they show up in everyday interactions, and why they matter.

This is where the conversation becomes more practical. We begin to unpack:

  • Belonging — What is the experience of being here?

  • Before — What existed before the moment in front of us?

  • Beside — What does it mean to genuinely stand alongside another person?

  • Behind —What do we say, allow and challenge when someone is not in the room?

  • Boundaries — Can I challenge without diminishing, controlling or intruding?

The masterclass creates space for reflection, discussion and application. Participants are encouraged to consider their own experiences, behaviours and assumptions, and to recognise the difference between what they intend and how others may actually experience them.

The aim is not simply to understand the framework intellectually. It is to begin seeing it in real life.

In meetings.

In leadership.

In conflict.

In support.

In silence.

In the conversations that happen when someone leaves the room.

The masterclass is the welcome into the framework — a chance to explore it, question it and begin to recognise how it can change the quality of human interaction.

Stage Three

The Belonging

Workshops

11_edited.jpg

The workshop is where the Five Bs move from being ideas to being experienced. Participants are no longer simply hearing the story or exploring the framework. They begin to use it — with themselves, with one another and with the real situations they face in their work.

Through practical exercises, reflection, discussion and lived examples, the workshop creates space to explore how Belonging, Before, Beside, Behind and Never Belittle show up in everyday interactions.

This is where people can practise:

  • having difficult conversations with greater awareness;

  • recognising when a Five Bs violation may have occurred;

  • understanding the difference between intent and impact;

  • challenging without diminishing;

  • supporting without taking over;

  • noticing the assumptions and stories that shape interactions;

  • repairing connection when something has gone wrong.

The workshop is experiential because human connection cannot be understood fully in theory.

It has to be felt.

It has to be tested.

It has to be practised.

The aim is to help participants begin turning the Five Bs into a shared language they can actually use — in teams, in leadership, in conflict, in feedback and in the moments that shape culture every day.

The workshop is the belonging — where people step fully into the framework, practise it together and begin to make it their own.

From Inspiration to Application

Keynote &
Masterclass Packages.

The Five Bs Keynote and Masterclass Package creates a connected learning journey for organisations wanting more than a single moment of inspiration. The keynote introduces the framework to a wider audience. The masterclass then gives a smaller group the opportunity to explore, practise and apply the Five Bs within their own organisational context.

Stage One

The Keynote

The keynote creates a shared starting point. Through storytelling, humour, reflection and relatable examples, Gamal introduces the Five Bs and invites the audience to notice the everyday behaviours through which belonging, dignity and culture are created.

Suggested duration: 45–60 minutes

The keynote helps participants:

  • Understand the Five Bs framework.

  • Recognise their influence on the experience of others.

  • Reflect on how they respond to difference and disagreement.

  • Develop a shared language for further conversation.

Stage Two

The Masterclasses

The masterclass takes the framework further. Participants explore workplace situations, examine their own behaviour and practise applying the Five Bs to relationships, leadership and organisational culture. The masterclass can be delivered as a half-day or full-day experience.

Participants will:

  • Apply the Five Bs to realistic situations.

  • Explore the influence of power and hierarchy.

  • Practise supporting without taking over.

  • Examine dignity and reputation in people’s absence.

  • Develop approaches to challenge without belittling.

  • Identify practical personal and team commitments.

Why combine them?

The combined package provides:

  • A consistent message across the organisation

  • A shared language for culture and behaviour

  • Broad awareness through the keynote

  • Deeper application through the masterclass

  • Opportunities to connect personal reflection with organisational practice

  • A stronger foundation for continued conversation and change

Tailored to your organisation

The keynote and masterclass can be adapted to reflect:

  • Organisational values and priorities

  • Leadership and management challenges

  • Culture and belonging

  • Communication and speaking up

  • Organisational change

  • Difference, disagreement and psychological safety

  • The needs of a particular audience or professional context

The keynote changes what people notice. The masterclass helps them practise what they might do differently.

The package does not promise instant cultural transformation. It creates a shared starting point from which people can recognise behaviour, have more honest conversations and make more conscious choices.
